Originally from Charlottetown, Brady currently resides in Halifax with his wife Amy and two young sons, Duke and Jake. He has worked within the financial services industry for over 25 years with half that time at CIBC Wood Gundy. After his undergraduate degree from UPEI, Brady continued to expand his many designations in order to provide comprehensive financial solutions to clients and their families. He holds a number of professional designations including Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP). He is an accredited Investment Portfolio Manager with Options and Life Insurance licenses across the country. He collaborates with other professionals to ensure each client receives expert advice and holistic wealth management solutions. Brady is a member of the President’s Council – one of the highest honours bestowed on CIBC Wood Gundy Advisors.

Bernadette is our new Associate Investment Advisor joining the team in 2019! She provides financial planning and wealth management services to clients. She has an amazing 37 years of experience with CIBC with the last 20 as a Financial Advisor. In her previous role, she provided financial planning advice to over 250 clients and their families while working closely with her partners at CIBC Trust and CIBC Wood Gundy. She has a number of accreditations: CFP (Certified Financial Planner), FCSI (Fellow of the Cdn Securities Institute) and CIM (Canadian Investment Manager). Bernadette was born in Antigonish and raised in Dartmouth. She and her husband Keith raised two daughters in their home in Oakfield, NS. Their proximity to Grand Lake allows them to enjoy time on the water along with plenty of gardening. She is passionate about delivering sound advice to clients and helping meet their financial goals.
Leanne launched her career in financial services upon graduating from the Investment Management Program at the Nova Scotia Community College Waterfront Campus in 2012. She holds various financial credentials from the Canadian Securities Institute including the Canadian Securities Course, Conduct and Practices Handbook and Wealth Management Essentials. Outside of CIBC, Leanne is very active in the dance world and teaches many ages and styles at a dance studio in Cole Harbour, her home town!
Nancy has worked with CIBC for over 20 years. Growing up in New Brunswick, Nancy moved to Halifax to receive her B.A. (Economics) degree from Dalhousie University, and fortunately has not left. Nancy’s Canadian Securities Institute credentials include the Canadian Securities Course, Conduct and Practices Handbook, and the Professional Financial Planning Course. Nancy actively volunteers in the community with various organizations.

Thomas offers the Doyle Hunter Advisory team the ability to examine how to use risk management solutions to organize and provide tax efficient solutions for clients.
Thomas comes to CIBC Wood Gundy from one of the region’s most successful independent Financial Planning Firms where he primarily dealt with estate planning. In his role, Thomas meets client’s retirement goals and passing on their accumulated wealth in the most tax efficient manner possible.
Thomas also worked with one of the industry’s largest insurance companies on the product service and development side allowing him to have an in-depth knowledge of current and past insurance products.

Craig has worked with many clients and families to organize and create their overall financial plan, as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC). Craig has worked in the financial industry for the past 20 years, including practicing over 10 years with CIBC Imperial Service as a Financial Advisor. He graduated from Dalhousie University with a BA and MPA (Master of Public Administration) in 1990 and 1992.
Craig’s experience assists to ensure all of the ‘moving parts’ and updates to your financial plan, once created, are up to date and offer a financial roadmap that adapts to your needs and those of the tax and legal environment we operate in.

Struan Smith is a Senior Trust & Estate Consultant with CIBC Trust Corporation. Struan provides will, trust, and estate planning solutions to high-net-worth individuals across Atlantic Canada. Born and raised in Moncton, Struan graduated from Mount Allison University with a BSc before going on to obtain his LLB from University of New Brunswick. Prior to joining CIBC Private Wealth Management, he practiced law with a regional law firm in Atlantic Canada, based out of Moncton, New Brunswick. Struan is also a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP Canada), having earned the internationally recognized Trust & Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation. Most recently, he completed the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) offered by the Canadian Securities Institute.
